Jack Laszlo, President Hey, Indiana DECA! My name is Jack Laszlo, and I am your State President. I am a senior at Munster High School, and this is my fourth year as a DECA member. I'm extremely excited to work with this year's State Officer Team to make this the best year ever for Indiana DECA members! Our State Officer Team has many great goals for this year. Branon Renick, VP of Corporate Development Hi! My name is Branon Renick and I am the Indiana DECA Vice President of Corporate Development for the 2011-2012 school year. I am a senior at Frankfort High School. I have been very involved in DECA since my sophomore year. At the 2009 SCDC I placed 2nd in Public Relations Project and last year my team won the Community Service Porject and I received honorable mention at ICDC both years. Outside of DECA, I am the Vice President of my senior class, Secretary of my schools Key Club, and I am a member of my school's NHS Chapter. I am a 3 year varsity swimmer and I swim Maveriack Aquatics during the fall and summer months. I look forward to meeting as many members as I can and asipring higher with Indiana DECA. Blaire Gearhart, District 1 President Hello Indiana DECA! I am Blaire Gearhart, and I am your 2011-2012 District 1 President. I am currently a junior at Griffith High School, and this will be my third year participating in DECA. I am thrilled to be working with the State Officer team as well as all of you! Along with DECA, I am also a part of my school’s theatre department, International Club, Class Council, and Student Council. Jason Garza, District 3/6 President Hello! My name is Jason Garza and I am from Jonesboro Indiana and I am the districts 3 and 6 president. I am 17 years of age and I go to Mississinewa High School in Gas City. I like to have fun and be with my friends. My goal as a state officer is to increase membership in districts 3 and 6 and help host the best state conference Indiana Deca has ever seen.

Allison Sherrill, District 7 President My name is Allison Sherrill, I am 15 years old and I am going to be a sophomore at Terre Haute North High School. I am the Indiana DECA State 2011-2012 President of District 7. At North, I am my sophomore class treasurer, and am involved in Interact Community Service Club, Counterpoints (elite choir), Knowledge Masters, and my school’s drama department. I live with my mom, Micah, and my stepdad, Darin, along with my two younger sisters, Abigail and Alexis. A couple things you should probably know about me is that I am obsessed with New York and Broadway, I have so many friends I can hardly count them, and my family means everything to me. Kelsey Cross, District 9 President Hi I'm Kelsey Cross District 9 President! This year I will be a senior at Union City Community High School. I am on the Cross Country Team, Dance Team, Track Team, and the Boys Basketball Manger. I serve as Student Body President along with also being involved in FFA, FCCLA, NHS, SADD, and Frontline. I love doing volunteer work, dancing, reading, going on mission trips, and hanging out with my friends. I am excited for all the opportunities DECA will bring in the following school year for all members. Abby McCormick, VP of Communications My name is Abby McCormick and I am your 2011-2012 Vice President of Communications. I will be a senior attending Washington High School. I am the President of my class, tutor at the local library, and participate in various clubs such as Student Council, BETA, DECA, and Spell Bowl. I work part-time at Williams Brothers Healthcare Pharmacy as a DME Billing Assistant. I also am very involved in volunteering my spare time to helping out with MDA. I teach first grade faith formation at my church, Our Lady of Hope. Random facts about me include: I love Reese’s, ice cream, the band Jack’s Mannequin, and I never sleep. Nick Laszlo, VP of Technology
Hi, my name is Nick Laszlo, and I am your 2011- 2012 State Vice President of Technology. I am a senior at Munster High School, and this is my fourth year in DECA. At Munster, I am on the varsity tennis and varsity debate teams. I also am Co-President of a charity organization called CRY, or Child Rights and You. Lastly, I have an immense interest in business, and plan on studying business in college. Being in DECA has been an extremely rewarding experience, and I am very excited to serve in office. As VP of Tech, my main goal will be to connect Indiana DECA members better with Indiana DECA, as well as better with other members. Jack Jordan, District 2 President Hey everyone! I am Jack Jordan, Indiana DECA’s District 2 President. This upcoming year, I will be a senior at Bremen high school. Go Seniors!!!! At Bremen, I am involved with many school activities. I am part of the varsity cross country and track teams, and this next year I will be trying out for the bowling team. Hello Indiana DECA! I’m Maggie Hamer and I’m the district 8 president. I am a senior this year at Brownsburg High School and am very excited for this upcoming year. Some of my favorite activities include playing rugby and softball, playing with my cat Ipsy, reading, and of course participating in DECA.
