We believe in student leadership and a foundation in business.
Indiana DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to gain the edge in networking and career-oriented competition through community outreach and leadership conferences.
Through high schools and college campuses across the states, our members have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of business-related activities, competitive events programs, and conferences. No matter where our students come from, they will have the opportunity to build a professional network of hardworking individuals in Indiana and beyond. STUDENT EXPERIENCE
Guiding Principles and Attributes for Student Success
Our guiding principles explain how we fulfill our mission by addressing what we do and the outcomes we expect. DECA enhances the preparation for college and careers by providing co-curricular programs that integrate into classroom instruction, applying learning in the context of business, connecting to business and the community and promoting competition. Our student members leverage their DECA experience to become academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders. Our attributes and values describe DECA's priorities and standards. We value competence, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
Indiana High School DECA Programs
Indiana DECA's flagship division for 80+ years. Indiana High School members can compete in one of 60+ events through local, state, and international competitions. In addition, members will participate in leadership and professional development via the fall leadership conference, corporate challenges, and more.
Indiana Collegiate DECA Programs
Indiana DECA's newest division. Indiana Collegiate members can compete in one of 25 events through local, state, and international competitions. In addition, members will participate in leadership and professional development via the fall leadership conference, corporate challenges, and more.
