Joining DECA is just the first step to your membership experience. Each year, you can expect a menu of conference offerings sure to put your skills to the test. Whether its exploring careers and job opportunities through the Ultimate DECA Power Trip, preparing for the competition year ahead with Indiana DECA Fall Leadership Conference, or displaying your prowess against an international audience, you will experience it all during the membership year.

EMERGING LEADER SUMMIT
DECA leaders will engage in an array of educational programs to empower them to lead the upcoming year. There are plenty of opportunities to collaborate, network, achieve, excel and grow
Part of the DECA Emerging Leader Series, the DECA Emerging Leader Summit brings together association officers, chapter officers and leaders, and officer hopefuls during a three-day intense leadership experience.
DECA’s Elevate track is designed for upcoming chapter leaders — whether they are a chapter president, committee member, project manager or someone who just wants to go above-and beyond. Participants will work together in a facilitated classroom environment with collaborative assignments, discussions and presentations. Get ready for hands-on, interactive activities! DECA’s Empower track is designed for association leaders. Association teams will work together in a facilitated classroom environment with team assignments, discussions and presentations. Association officer teams will engage with their association advisor and regional executive officers at various check-points throughout training. Get ready for hands-on, interactive activities!

IN HIGH SCHOOL FALL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Prepare to emerge victorious in DECA competition and local chapter leadership
Join over 250 Indiana High School DECA members as you prepare for the 2025-2026 membership year. During the Indiana High School DECA Fall Leadership Conference, members will have the opportunity to attend engaging keynote speaker sessions, learn more about the competitive events program, and celebrate success with local chapters from across the state.
Included in your registration will include access to workshops, speakers, the networking opportunities, and chapter leadership development. At the end of the conference, members will have the skills necessary to Go the Extra in competition, DECA leadership, and beyond.

THE ULTIMATE DECA POWER TRIP
Embark on a quest that will awaken your thirst for knowledge in this powerful city
Become the ultimate competitor in a DECA role play. Members must pre-register for this activity. Top performers will be recognized during Sunday’s Closing Session. Compete against the Hoosier state's best in the DECA competitive events program
The Indiana State Career Development Conference welcomes over 2,500 students from across the state of Indiana for 3 days of competition, professional development, networking, and innovative sessions.
Throughout your time in downtown Indianapolis, meet the state's best on the competition field as you work to earn your spot to attend the DECA International Career Development Conference. The top three individuals, teams, or partnerships in each competitive event will be invited to represent Indiana on the international stage. While in attendance and between competition, take the time to learn more about your fellow members, elect the next State Officers of Team 81, and explore the city. Your registration includes access to powerful general sessions, competitive events participation, and workshops led by local business professionals.

HS INTERNATIONAL CAREER DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the culmination of the DECA year
The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the culmination of the DECA year. More than 23,000 high school students, teacher advisors, business professionals and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. DECA members demonstrate their college and career ready knowledge and skills by participating in DECA’s industry-validated Competitive Events Program, aligned with Career Clusters, National Curriculum Standards and 21st Century Skills in the areas of marketing, finance, hospitality, management and entrepreneurship.
These members have qualified to attend based on superior performance at the district and association levels. More than 1,000 business professionals serve as judges to evaluate DECA members’ mastery of these concepts.
