2027-2028 STATE OFFICER ELECTION
Help Decide the Future of Indiana Collegiate DECA Leadership
The Election Session at the Indiana Collegiate DECA State Career Development Conference will bring together voting delegates from across the state to elect the 2027–2028 Indiana Collegiate DECA State Officer Team. This session represents the future of our association, as candidates share their vision, goals, and commitment to serving Indiana members in the year ahead.
During the session, you will hear speeches from each state officer candidate, learn about their platforms, and witness the official voting process. Only accredited Indiana chapters are eligible to cast votes in the election; however, members and advisors from outside the state are warmly welcomed to attend, observe, and experience this important leadership moment within our association.
THE HOOSIER CASE STUDY
An Indiana Collegiate DECA Classic Competitive Event
The Hoosier Case Study at the Indiana Collegiate DECA State Career Development Conference will bring together students from across the state to solve a real-world business challenge in a fast-paced, competitive setting. This event gives participants the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge, creative thinking, and professional presentation skills to a case rooted in strategy, innovation, and problem-solving.

During the event, teams will analyze the case, develop thoughtful recommendations, and present their ideas to judges for evaluation. Unlike traditional DECA competitive events, the Hoosier Case Study is open to both DECA members and non-members, making it an exciting opportunity for more students to experience the value of Collegiate DECA competition.

NOT FROM THE HOOSIER STATE?
Out of State Attendance Welcomed at the IN CDECA SCDC
Out-of-state chapters that are not located within a chartered Collegiate DECA association are welcome to attend the Indiana Collegiate DECA State Career Development Conference as guest participants. This opportunity allows students from non-chartered states to experience a state-level conference environment, engage in professional development, build connections, and participate in select conference activities.

While eligibility for certain Indiana-specific events, awards, and association voting may be limited to accredited Indiana Collegiate DECA chapters, guest chapters are encouraged to take part in the broader conference experience. Indiana Collegiate DECA is proud to provide a welcoming space for emerging leaders from across the region to learn, compete where eligible, and connect with the DECA community.
