DECA Day is just around the corner! Previously called the Fall Leadership Conference (FLC), DECA Day will be held at Butler University on November 19, 2025. It will be a day full of fun, learning, and workshops. Whether you are a first-year DECA member or a seasoned chapter president, DECA Day has something for everyone!
We are looking to help you Go the Extra Step on DECA Day, and we will have numerous workshops, a panel of professionals to ask questions to, the ability to tour the Butler campus, and the opportunity to watch a Butler basketball game.
Our morning session will consist of a What is DECA session intended for new DECA members. We will introduce the main topics of DECA, from competition overviews to networking opportunities. Furthermore, we will have a Competitions Outline session that takes a deep dive into the different DECA events, how to pick an event, and how to succeed. Our final morning session is a Chapter Officer Training session that will prepare you to lead your chapter to success. Students will only attend one of these sessions.
Students will attend all four of the following afternoon sessions, which includes a Chapter Growth strategy session, where we will go over tactics to grow your chapter and fundraise money in order to make DECA more inclusive. Furthermore, we offer a session that goes over the new Slide Deck that replaces 10-page papers this year. We will also have a community service session that consists of a surprise activity to help students unwind and give back to their community. Finally, we will offer a session that helps DECA students succeed in the real world by teaching them how to make a resume and succeed at interviews.
New this year, Collegiate DECA will also be present to take seniors on a tour of Butler and explain the benefits of Collegiate DECA to them. This is an amazing opportunity for seniors to extend their DECA journey throughout college and gain access to amazing opportunities, from prestigious internships to a nationwide network of motivated college students.
