Aurora Tru Henrichs

Region 1 President

Aurora Tru Henrichs is a senior at Kouts High School and proudly serves as the Region 1 President for Indiana DECA Team 80. She joined DECA during her school’s very first year with a chapter and has been passionate about the organization ever since. Coming from a small school, Aurora is especially committed to expanding DECA opportunities for students in rural and underserved communities.

Outside of DECA, Aurora is a long-distance runner for track and cross country and also cheers for her high school team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, watching Gilmore Girls, listening to Taylor Swift, and—most of all—drinking coffee. A fun fact: she’s left-handed! 

Aurora is thrilled to serve Region 1 and looks forward to an incredible year of leadership, growth, and connection.
